A Historic Ascent: The successful summit of Mt Brammah 1 on July 18, 2023, marks a historic achievement in the world of Indian mountaineering. The team, led by Rudra Prasad Halder and his 11 teammates—among whom was Joydeep Halder, the owner of Fire Prevention and Consultancy Services—became the first Indian team to scale this technically challenging mountain.
Overcoming Adversity: The journey to the summit was not without obstacles. Adverse weather conditions and an unfortunate incident involving a Sherpa member’s fall posed significant challenges. However, the team’s resilience and determination led to a courageous decision to wait for the Sherpa’s recovery and make a second attempt, ultimately achieving their goal.
