Sandwip Halder Director, Ex Divisional Officer
Sandwip joined the West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services in January 1986 as a sub-officer and completed his service tenure as Divisional Fire Officer in September 2013. He has more than 29 years’ experience in the domain of fire protection and safety. Post retirement, Sandwip founded Fire Prevention & Consultancy Services along with a few senior consultants and this is continuing till date.
Sandwip is passionate about fire prevention and safety and, in his new role, he has worked with multiple organizations and leveraged his vast domain knowledge and experience to recommend innovative fire safety solutions, audits and processes which can be applied on a pan-India basis.
Joydeep Halder Co-Founder & CMO
Joydeep is an entrepreneurship professional who holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Deakin University, Melbourne. He has prior work experience in the health, fitness and IT industries and is skilled in Business Development, Service Management and Work Flow execution. Currently, Joydeep is responsible for business marketing and overall growth for Fire Prevention & Consultancy Services. His commitment and integrity have resulted in many successful ventures and he’s determined to assist in developing our company, FPCS, so that millions of lives in India are protected through awareness of fire protection and safety services.
Susanta Mukherjee Senior Fire Consultant
Susanta completed his B.Sc in 1962 and joined the West Bengal Fire & Emergency Services as a Sub-Officer in 1963. He served for 36 years at WBF&ES before retiring as Divisional Fire Officer in 2000. Susanta holds a Diploma in Fire Engineering from National Fire Service College and he graduated from the Institute of Fire Engineers (India) after winning the President’s Medal in 1992.
He has worked on third-party fire audits in multiple industries and also has 20 years’ experience as Fire Safety Manager or Consultant with corporates like DLF etc. Susanta is also a former advisor to the West Bengal Government Fire Service and has exposure to different fire scenarios, safety plans and audits.
Sankar Sarkar Ex - Deputy Director
Mr. Sankar Sarkar dedicated 36 years to the WB Fire and Emergency Services, starting as a Sub-Divisional Officer and retiring as a Deputy Director in 2000.
Along the way, he received recognition for his outstanding service, including the prestigious IFE India President’s Medal & Diploma in Fire Engineering from the National Fire Service College. For two decades after retiring, he served as a Fire Safety Manager & Consultant, conducting vital fire audits that saved lives and property.
Md. Farhan Architect
We at FPCS have had the privilege of collaborating with Architect Md. Farhan, who brings seven years of extensive experience, including significant work in the Middle East. Together, we have successfully managed a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Farhan has expertise in local body sanction & consultations, architectural and structural design, detailed execution plans, and interior design.
